Well known to Quebecers, Les Vins de Vienne is a partnership of three pioneering winemakers in the Rhône – Cuilleron, Villard and Gaillard. Its cuvée Les Cranilles, composed largely of Grenache with some Syrah and Mourvèdre, presents an appealing nose of violet and brandied cherry. The tannins are utterly silky and the mouth fruity and spicy. A vin de plaisir with a compelling quality-price ratio.
