Detailed info
Frédéric Brochet took over his father's tiny, out-of-the-way vineyard in 1995. His Ampeliade project was born with only two winemaking vats, three casks and a novel, almost rebel vision. Today, he manages some 100 hectares of vines. Wines from the Session Brochet selection are an experiment and are far from classic, far from the terroir, vintage and varietal notions - they are the product of a unique vision. Fié Gris is born from a mass selection of old Sauvignon Blanc vine stocks that yield pink berries, transplanted on Gamay stocks.
