Weingut Heinrich Pinot Noir 2022
Detailed info
On the banks of Lake Neusiedler, east of Austria, the wine region of Burgenland is home to the modern installations of Gernot and Heike Heinrich, a dynamic couple at the head of an organic vineyard. Representing the majority of the production, their reds are some of the most coveted of Austria. The seven months of aging in tuns and 500-liter casks yield a palate more focussed on a fruity expression reminiscent of cherry and cranberry, to which are joined notes of tea and mild spices. This is an absolutely charming wine, supple and fresh.
