A tributary of the Rhine, the river Nahe also gives its name to this wine-growing region of just over 4,000 hectares of vineyards. Although not as well known as the Moselle, it is nevertheless home to influential producers such as Emrich-Schönleber. Their superb Riesling Trocken is characterised by its freshness and minerality. It will be a sensation with sushi or spring rolls.
