Tired of over-extracted wines, heavily wooded and without soul, Ferdinando decided to go his own way and create wines in a more traditional organic fashion, just the way he likes them - with natural yeasts, long and delicate fermentations and SO2 (sulphites) added only to bottling. Unfiltered, his Barbera is seductive and elegant with delicate hints of fruit and flower. The result is a pure wine, stripped of any artifice.
