Located on the east coast of North Island, Hawke’s Bay is home to the second largest wine business after the prolific Marlborough region. Harboring Bordeaux varietals (Cabernet, Merlot…) it also excels at producing typical and elegant Syrah cuvées. This one is a fine case in point: accents of black pepper and violet in a forthright and easy-drinking mouth. To be discovered while enjoying a few lamb chops!
