Little brother of Château de Beychevelle, which is ranked 4th in the prestigious classification of Médoc crus (1855), it’s in fact made from the estate’s youngest vines. The goal is to offer a more accessible and fruitier cuvée, more assertive, so there is a larger proportion of Merlot. It expresses abundant notes of blackcurrant, raspberry and blackberry, supported by a subtle woody note. A wine that can be served slightly chilled with an oven-baked duck breast.
