Christine Dupuis more than doubled the size of the family property since taking over in 1993. The youngest winemaker in Madiran at the time, she now manages over 20 hectares including a small half-hectare parcel of pre-phylloxera vines. The 24-month aging for this cuvee is split between oak casks (25% new) and cement vats. It results in a robust, full-bodied wine revealing accents of cedar, cassis, blackberry, licorice and violet. A wine to pair with game, or to cellar for a while.
