"A discreet but perceptible dose of wood can be found on the cool floral, pear confit, tidal pool and iodine-scented nose. The refined, intense and wonderfully sleek medium weight flavors flash a bracing salinity on the classy, balanced and wonderfully persistent finale. This chiseled effort is a relatively powerful MdT and like several wines in the range, possesses a genuinely lovely texture. Recommended."

"The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has turned out beautifully in bottle, wafting from the glass with a complex bouquet of orange rind, plums, peonies, cinnamon and other warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, it's perfumed and enveloping, with supple tannins and a long, saline finish."

"In contrast to the nose of the Pucelles, here it's elegant, pure and airy with its layered aromas of essence of apple, pear and acacia blossom. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density to the mouth coating and caressing middle weight flavors that culminate in a lemony finish that is hugely long if perhaps not quite as crisp. This too is very stylish and a wine that should age gracefully for years."
