  1. WA 91, RVF 93 "Light gold, bright. Maizières is made from a limestone part at the top and a clay part at the bottom of the plot. It benefits from a perfect maturity of the harvest, associated with a solid mineral support, the aging is spot on, this woodiness suits it very well, it is concentrated, a broader-shouldered wine, of great purity. A bright future awaits it, a wine appreciated for its balance" Translated from www.larvf.com

"The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc has a pleasant bouquet with Granny Smiths and light white peach aromas, which are very well-defined. The palate is well-balanced with fine weight, taut, fresh and quite potent for a regional white. The 2022 is satisfyingly persistent on the finish. This is white regional Burgundy from the top drawer."

"Firm reduction masks all the aromas except an interesting hint of exotic tea. There is again both good vibrancy and freshness to the finer still, but not denser, medium weight flavors that are almost delicate yet certainly don't lack for punch as the strikingly long finale is almost painfully intense. This is bone-dry but not especially austere and overall, one very classy wine. Buy it if you can find it. from 40+ year old vines from a huge 2.5 ha parcel in Genevrières Dessus."

"The 2022 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Ducs is lovely, unwinding in the glass with aromas of red berries and cherries mingled with peonies, warm spices, potpourri and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and pure, with a deep and multidimensional core of fruit, lively acids and refined tannins, it concludes with a long, saline finish."

"The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has a pronounced stem addition on the nose: cracked black pepper and damp mulch scents percolating through the mainly red fruit. Nicely focused and fresh. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and smooth in texture with black cherries and raspberry fruit. There’s a crisp bead of acidity with a sprightly, black pepper-tinged finish. There's a lot of typicité here, which lowers it a couple of ticks."
