This is a fantastic mix between a raw cider made from Empire apples and the tasty strawberries from the Gadbois farm; you won’t be able to resist this elixir. Perfectly balanced, light but without being devoid of personality, it’s the perfect aperitif for the terrace with friends, the impromptu picnic or the Sunday brunch to paired with a brie cheese croissant topped with strawberries.
"Margoulette is a cider made with more than thirty varieties of late harvested and ancestral apples that give it texture and complexity. This cider was fermented with indigenous yeasts at low temperature and aged in Burgundy oak barrels for several months. Vinous, dry with fine and persistent bubbles, Margoulette will be perfect for festive aperitifs as well as dinners with friends and family."
- Description provided by the producer
After a trip to Normandy, Marc-Antoine Arseneault-Chiasson and Audrey-Ann Lussier launched their cidery near Farnham. Resulting from agro organic and regenerative practices, this cider takes its profile from a maceration of strawberries and the addition of sumac vinegar. Its fruitiness and freshness make it great as an aperitif.
Made entirely from belmac, an apple cultivar resistant to common apple diseases, this cider offers beautiful fine bubbles activated by a traditional method followed by 14 months of ageing on lees. Very dry and with a digestible alcohol content, this sparkling wine will pair well with a platter of local cheeses.
