    1. Very aromatic, persistent, lively and fatty, this California Chardonnay of great quality is a must for fans of the varietal. With the least interventionist approach possible, the Stags Leap Winery, established in 1893 in the highly-sought after eponymous district, delivers modern Chardonnays showcasing great precision and overall balance.

    2. Located in southern Napa Valley, Su'skol vineyard benefits from the morning breezes of San Pablo Bay to preserve the fruitiness and freshness of the Chardonnay grapes. Aged nine months in barrels on its lees, this white displays scents of pear, honey, honeysuckle and butter. Serve it with pasta or poultry with cream sauce.

    3. Made from the original California varietal, this cuvee is aged 12 months in American and French oak casks. Ample and mouth-filling, it offers the ideal taste profile to pair with ribs in barbecue sauce.

    4. Started by by Roy Raymond and his two sons in the early 1970s, the company is now owned by the flamboyant Jean-Claude Boisset (Boisset Collection) from Burgundy. Since then, in addition to having seen its facilities renovated, viticulture has switched to organic and biodynamic methods. Both powerful and silky, this Napa Valley wine will pair beautifully with grilled red meat.
    5. Looking for a red to cellar for the next 10 years? This Cabernet Sauvignon from the mythical Napa Valley offers an intense mouth of plum, blackcurrant, mocha, licorice and oak, which will be ideal for cellaring. Rich, generous, with a lovely energy, it will perfectly enhance noble cuts of beef or game.
    6. Mostly stored in neutral French barrels to preserve its freshness and elegance, this red will complete its 18-month aging in new American casks to the tune of 30%. Black fruits, spices, cola, espresso and vanilla permeate an enveloping and heady mouth that will be great with braised veal cheeks or grilled deer steak.
