Previously done in co-op, production of this cru has been the responsibility of the Cruchon family since 2005, who in the past years has seen its number of vine hectares go from nine to over 40. Aged 12 months in oak casks, this ample and persistent Médoc is made of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Quite elegant, it is also supple and easy-drinking. Refined tannins and a welcomed freshness join notes of leather, cassis, torrefaction and cedar.
