Domaine des Baumard Savennières 2016
Detailed info
The Baumard family established its estate in 1959 southwest of beautiful Angers. Speading over 40 hectares on both shores of the Loire, the vineyard is now under the direction of Florent, who carries out his father's vision. This cuvee is a lovely expression of the Chenin varietal, featuring white flowers, linden and almond notes in a round, persistent mouth feel. Fun fact: he was one of the first in the region to opt for screw caps for all his wines to prevent dreaded cork problems.
