Domaine des Baumard Clos de la Folie Anjou 2015
Detailed info
The Baumard family settled near the lovely city of Angers back in 1959. The 40-hectare property, stretched over both sides of the Loire River, is now headed by Florent who continues the work his father taught him when he joined him in 1987. Produced only in the good years, this Anjou is mostly made of Cabernet Franc, with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. Already a few years old, this red showcases nice freshness and suppleness - a fine choice for both pre-dinner drinks and dinner pairings.
