Arbois Ploussard Les Parelles 2018
Detailed info
Produced by the Fruitière Vinicole de Pupillin, "Les Parelles" is made from the Ploussard varietal (also called Poulsard) from the local word "plousse" or sloe (prunelle in French) which often features the same colour seeds or shape. Aged in almost century-old oak tuns, the wine will find balance and structure over a 14 to 18-month period. Clear-red in colour, this supple wine is graced with flavours of cherry, pepper, humid dirt and dried flowers. Serve chilled with charcuteries to kick-off happy hour.
