Bodegas Niel is a personal project sign by Antonio Santofimia, the owner of Aviva Vino. Almansa is the appellation comprised of the largest Garnacha Tintorera vineyard in the world, located south-east of Spain. Mostly made of this varietal planted between 800 and 1,000 meters in altitude, Niel Santofimia is a fine example of what this grape can yield. Depp purple in colour, it is marked by flavours of black fruits, violet, pepper, licorice and black olives. The mouth is supple, and the tannins are refined.
