Jean-Claude Chanudet La Cuvée du Chat Beaujolais
Detailed info
The cat is him: Jean-Claude Chanudet, pioneer of natural wines in Beaujolais. Outside of his activities at Domaine J. Chamonard, he is part of the handful of winemakers that produced from parcels previously owned by the father of natural wines, Jules Chauvet. Along with Marie Lapierre (wife of the late Marcel Lapierre) they produce La Cuvée du chat from one of the famous parcels at Château Cambon. This is a wine marked by mineral notes, joined by red berries. Decant for maximum pleasure.
