The name alludes to the Frenchtown school of district 41 in Washington State and honors the many French Canadian settlers who started making wine in the early 1800's. Intriguing, this cuvée offers the distinctive feature of marrying Bordeaux varieties with Rhône's. This generous wine, marked by a fine backbone, is matured 9 months in neutral casks and the mouth offers persistant flavors of black currant, licorice, cedar and tobacco.
