In the 80's, during silk buying trips to Europe for their business, the Talbotts visited French and Italian vineyards and soon became interested in fine wine. One thing led to another and their aspiration quickly turned into a vocation. This Pinot Noir from the stunning Santa Lucia Highlands, south of Monterey, opens with aromas of plum, candied cherry, nutmeg and clove.
