Although the family vineyard is in Costières de Nîmes, Julien Seydoux chose the harsh lands of northern Herault to make wine. On the hills of the Faugères appellation, the Estanilles vineyard is managed according to the precepts of organic farming. Mourvèdre dominates Syrah and Grenache in this full-bodied wine in which liquorice, blackcurrant, blackberry and violet come together beautifully.
