Dorrance Wines Syrah Cuvée Ameena Western Cape 2020
Detailed info
Coming from Calvados, Christophe Durand first settled in Cape Town as a supplier of French casks before producing a first cuvée of Syrah named after his daughter Ameena. Aged for 2 years in 500-liter barrels, this one charms by its elegance, suppleness and freshness. It starts with notes of black fruit, sandalwood and roasting that continue onto violet, black olive and licorice. A beautiful French touch on South African soil! Perfect with BBQ lamb chops.
