Graupert – "wild" in the local Burgenland dialect – is the name given to Meinklang Estate's orange wine. Made from Pinot Gris, it takes its shade from a 17-day skin maceration. Raised on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 8 months, it is unfiltered and vegan. The wine baffles by its colour, but captivates by its tension, its notes of dried apricot, candied orange zest, mandarin and flowers. The perfect bottle to accompany a poke bowl or tuna tataki.
