50th Parallel Estate Pinot Gris 2018
Detailed info
Passionate about Pinot, the couple at the helm of this brand-new estate planted their first 10 acres of vines by hand in 2009, in a land of choice just south of Kelowna. Although just starting, the company is very successful, and this vintage of Pinot Gris in a case in point. The wine is immediately appealing with an intense nose that blends aromas of apple, pear and peach, with a toasty touch and a note reminiscent of the cloverleaf. Both fresh and textured, it persists in a long finish and fades on a delicately mineral flavor. A surprising wine!
