    Detailed info

    Basilicate, a lesser-known region north of Puglia, turns out intriguing and charming wines from its volcanic soils. Harvested at the top of its game on the hillsides of Mount Vulture, Aglianico is produced with natural yeasts and with no added sulphur. The result is biting with freshness and offers lovely accents of black fruits, cedar and tobacco. Will be at its best after a brief decanting period.
