Detailed info
Located in the heart of the Chablis region, Domaine Vincent Wengier crafts a Bourgogne Aligoté sourced from sites rarely associated with this grape, more typically reserved for Chardonnay. Planted on Kimmeridgian clay limestone soils—so distinctive of Chablis—the vines benefit from a terroir renowned for the unique character it imparts to the fruit and its ability to produce taut, finely chiselled white wines. Vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel, this cuvée is matured on fine lees, adding structure and a more rounded texture while preserving vibrant freshness. A distinctive yet highly drinkable Aligoté, perfectly suited to oysters, shellfish, fish and seafood pastas.
