Detailed info
In Spain and Latin America, the term clarete refers to a light red wine, somewhere between a deep rosé and a pale red. This particular cuvée is made entirely from Criolla, a grape variety introduced by colonists in the 16th century that has since taken root at the foot of the Andes. Naturally low in colour and tannins, Criolla produces supple, crunchy, and refreshing wines—perfect served chilled. This tradition is now being revived by producers who embrace simplicity and deliciousness, a profile that’s increasingly appealing to wine lovers. The ideal bottle to pair with charcuterie, empanadas, grilled fish, or vegetable couscous.
