Ravenswood Besieged Sonoma County 2014
Detailed info
The California estate once again surprises us with this blend of Petite Sirah, Carignan, Zinfandel, Syrah, Barbera, Alicante Bouschet and Mourvèdre. Just as generous on the nose as on the palate, it presents accents of violet, cassis, torrefaction, cocoa and spices. Probably the greatest specialist of Zinfandel, Ravenswood is still managed by its founder Joel Peterson, despite now being a property of Constellation Brands.
