Twice named Producer of the Year by the prestigious Portuguese wine magazine Revista de Vinhos, the family estate owned by the Alves de Sousa spans over five quitas and 110 hectares, including some parcels aged over 80 years. Domingos Alves de Sousa had early on noticed the potential of dry wines in the Douro Valley when he started marketing his own wines back in the 1980s. Born from Malvasia Fina and Gouveio, this Branco evokes notes of mango, honeydew, grapefruit and chalk in a supple mouth.
