Siro Pacenti Vecchie Vigne Brunello di Montalcino 2011
Detailed info
Pioneer of the new generation of Italian producers, Giancarlo Pacenti doesn't shy away from ideas that go outside the traditional practices of the country. Friends with Professor Yves Glories, previously the Director at Bordeaux faculty of oenology, his enthusiasm to seize all secrets of the Montalcino terroir allow him to elevate his wines all the while being inspired by the first and second wine concept of Bordeaux. Here is an elegant Brunello, complex yet with a good backbone. Its profile is reminiscent of cherry, tobacco, licorice, fig and mocha. A grand wine!
