Grochau Cellars Commuter Pinot Noir 2018
Detailed info
After biking through the Loire, Champagne and Burgundy regions for a French racing team, John Grochau headed back to his native Oregon to start his project in 2002. His wines are easy to drink and well balanced, which gives them certain touche française. This Pinot Noir, matured almost completely in neutral casks, is a blend of many Willamette Valley plots that brings out the essence of each vintage. With a silky structure and great suppleness, the wine reveals notes of cherry, cocoa and pot-pourri.
