Alain Rochard holds a special place in the hearts of Quebecers. Owner of the Loup Blanc vineyard in the Minervois, he has also long stimulated our taste buds via his Le Rouge-Gorge wine bar on rue Mont-Royal. Back in France, he titillates us once again with this very nice cuvée, resulting from a collaboration with Julien Fouet of Domaine Fouet in Loire. An eclectic blend of Chenin and Grolleau, the must benefits from a four-hour maceration and vinification takes place in concrete vats. Unfiltered, the grape varieties and the terroir are expressed in all purity. Perfect as an aperitif or with white-fleshed fish.
