Markus Altenburger Joiser Reben 2023
Detailed info
Made entirely from Blaufränkisch, Austria's iconic grape variety, this wine brilliantly expresses all the freshness and natural energy expected from the limestone terroirs of Burgenland. Vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged for 18 months on lees in large used barrels, it delivers a pure, delicately spiced, and decidedly gourmet expression. Its invigorating structure, supported by refreshing acidity, makes it an ideal companion for convivial moments. Best enjoyed slightly chilled! It pairs perfectly with fine charcuteries, chicken skewers marinated in fresh herbs, or beef carpaccio, seasoned with a few turns of pepper mill.
