“Naudin-Ferrand is a family and artisanal estate of 22 hectares enjoying a rich history (dating back to the 1500s). They specialize in wines from the Hautes Côtes, but they also produce Grands Crus and regional Burgundy wines. Claire Naudin, who runs the estate, spares no effort or principle with a very specific objective: to produce the best possible wine. This is evident in a cuvée like this Burgundy Aligoté. It comes from a small plot, on the historic cradle (Magny-lès-Villers) of the grape variety (Aligoté). We seek here first and foremost the expression of the tension of the latter, this vibrant and persistent acidity, which even the aging on lees (8 months) and the complete malolactic conversion cannot entirely curb. A serious aperitif wine, but still uncomplicated, to join you on your first terrace with friends.”
