Jean Foillard Beaujolais 2021
Detailed info
A student of Marcel Lapierre, a highly-skilled winemaker and «father» of natural wines, Jean Foillard took over the family estate in 1980, applying the rigorous work taught by his mentor. Passionate and devoted, just like Marcel Lapierre, he preaches a return to methods of little intervention as possible. This Beaujolais displays the merits of such approach, featuring great purity and aromatic finesse and proving that excellent wines are not just measured by their strength.
