At the end of the 19th century, a temperance movement was born in the United States, in Canada, and even here in Québec. It was a very simple idea: limit, if not abolish, the sale and consumption of alcohol.

The year 2020 served as a reminder of how important it is to support the local economy and talent. After Quebec wines and spirits, it’s now time for cream liqueurs to rise to the top! Versatile and delicious, these liqueurs can be enjoyed on the rocks, in a cocktail or coffee, or with your favourite desserts.

If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that we should find joy in life’s small pleasures and appreciate the simple everyday moments. Each day brings its own colour and special times that deserve to be celebrated.

Since 2011, the SAQ has made food assistance its major cause. Year after year, initiatives are launched to raise funds that are redistributed to 19 Moissons and nearly 1 200 community-based organizations across Québec.
