Speaking of Irish whiskey, St. Patrick's Day celebrations just happen to be in the air. Although we love classic green cocktails, black beer and spiked coffees, this year we’re all about a dose of sunshine and lightness.

We therefore declare that the Irish Lemonade is THE cocktail to try.

Well balanced between sweet and bitter, strength and freshness, it will appeal to those looking to shake up traditions and can ultimately be served on all occasions during the sunny seasons. Thanks to simple ingredients and some basic math, it could even be made into a punch version.

Sláinte!

John Jameson created Jameson Irish Whiskey in 1780. Today, it is still produced according to the founder's exacting standards, including the triple distillation process.

Aging takes places in three different types of casks (Bourbon, Sherry and Port) to impart balance and complexity.

With its notes of citrus peel, flowers, hay and honey, it is a versatile whiskey to be enjoyed neat, with your favourite mixer or in a cocktail.

Fitting pairings

The complex and versatile profile of this oh-so-refreshing cocktail is ideal for bites with a little heat, like cauliflower wings. And to honour Ireland’s emblematic tuber, you can also serve it with mini potatoes and bacon. Just don’t forget to double the recipe.
